Bit on the expensive side but okay.

Due to the corona time this store has forgotten what customer friendliness is and I guess only focuses on orders via the internet. Just visited the shop and walked to the counter to place an order. After a few minutes about 3 employees passed me, 2 employees were busy with an order, 1 employee an older man could still say hello. The 3rd employee in question I guess the (sales) manager was still busy talking to what I could conclude from the conversation an acquaintance. Then some time passes and it becomes a bit uncomfortable. The 2 employees who are not allowed to sell anything I guess pass me 2 or 3 times you still make some eye contact but little happens. In the background I hear the sales manager finish his conversation and this man says his well-known goodbye and walks towards the sales desk. In this case I was waiting for at least 5 minutes. This is of course manageable and this can of course occur due to pressure. All right, then the sales manager walks over to the counter and I think, I will be helped. Then this employee walks past me, I say goodbye to the man and try to make contact, but no success, apparently I do not exist at the moment. First it is his employee's turn, now the best employee is behind the counter to discuss a story about an order with another employee. A while passes again and now I have just picked up the Boxxer action newspaper, maybe this is a new sales trick? Well some time later and several awkward attempts at attention later, this conversation is also concluded. Now you think no other person around, no employee who should give instructions to the best man, now it is my turn to be the customer who wants to buy something. Well, no, the man looks at me, looks right and left once and picks up the phone at the desk and mumbles something like I'm going to call "pietje" first. After the employee also picked up the phone and entered a number, I walked out of the store and made my purchases elsewhere. Surprisingly, it was quite busy in the other store and I was immediately greeted by several employees, even though they were talking to a customer. Well, the Boxxer is not in the most tactical place to visit, but this experience ensures that I, as a customer, will no longer bother. A positive note to this experience, my purchases from the competitor were also cheaper.
