We have had a very negative experience with this real estate agency when buying a house in Sibbe. During the viewing of the property, we were not informed that a so-called earth pipe had been discovered at a property less than 150m away, which is often a harbinger of stability problems. This earth pipe was created as a result of the marl quarry (tunnels) under Sibbe. This while the building that we visited even has an entrance in the garden to this marl quarry and the municipality of Valkenburg indicated in February 2020 that they can no longer guarantee the stability of the quarry. The municipality also indicated that damage due to subsidence is for the account of the homeowners. None of this has been made clear to us throughout the purchase process. We had to hear this from an architectural inspector and appraiser who indicated in advance that these problems in Sibbe were known to them and would also be included in a valuation (1 day before the purchase agreement would be signed). After we indicated that we did not want to proceed with the purchase for these reasons, we did not receive any substantive response from the broker. We cannot say whether the lack of information is the result of deliberate abstention or ignorance on the part of a broker (about the architectural context in which a property in their portfolio is located). It is up to the reader to decide which of the two possibilities would be worse.

Called several times to make an appointment to view a house. However, this seems very difficult. For the first week they were full, if there would be a place we would be called. This did not happen. So we called again to make an appointment the following week. But we would have to wait for any bids from people who would have viewed it before. So we would be put on a waiting list. Apparently there are more people interested in a home, but they do not get the opportunity to view or make a higher offer. Also several promises made to call us back to provide more clarity or to make another appointment, but this was also not done. In short, 4 times on the phone and still without result.
