Rachelle and Romain are friendly and easy to get along with. When I have an issue as a tenant they will usually reply quickly and do their best to fix it. Communication with tenants could still improve since they sometimes did not reply to my emails, and my deposit took quite a while to be returned, but in the end I got my money back so I'm happy. Overall I had positive experiences and they were always easy to get along with when we met in person.

After renting our apartment for 2.5 years with Border Estate + we’re very sad to leave it and can only hope to encounter such friendly and competent agents/landlords in the future. The team has always listened to our feedback and made changes to the apartment accordingly. If you’re looking for an accommodation in Maastricht, you’re best off with this agency!

Very fast response and super nice service, I was able to move in to my new place within 2 days. Would definitely recommend for students or any other person in Maastricht looking for housing.

We are absolutely obliged and grateful with the standard of services we have received in last 30 months from the BorderEstate Agency, particularly from Romain and Rachelle. Their response time and communication was first class.The procedure and efficiency is flawless. Looking for a new property is always a stressful in Maastricht due to high demand. Me and my partner have been under extra time deadlines due to a change in workplace. We have certainly landed on our feet to find such a gorgeous and well presented property which is also backed by professional and efficient individuals who have made the process as easy as you can imagine. Also to mention that, there are very few agencies who concentrate on digitalization. Border Estate has almost everything online to raise request, report anything, checkin and checkout. You have everything available online in their new portal. Most amazing part is they are pro tenant and make sure that you get everything as per contract. I got my deposit back in a week which is record time (most of owner and agency don't give back deposit and its normal in Maastricht) Thank you, Abhishek

First impressions were lovely but they are quick to get unprofessional. I’ve rented from them for 2 years and have never felt the need to write a review about them until now. Before handing over my keys, I asked for reassurance that the place has been returned to its original state. After getting that assurance I thought everything would be fine. However, a few weeks later I only get parts of the deposit back, since my room was supposedly “filthy” (it was not, as their agent concurred). I have now had to start legal action in order to get my money back. This is only one of many examples of border estate being unprofessional. Others include irrational insults without any basis via email or pushing me to move out before my contract ended. As you can imagine, I would under no circumstance recommend these people. If you really have no choice I’d suggest you to document everything from photos to email conversations and more.
