Hotel de Vrouwe van Stavoren

My boyfriend and I had booked a room for one night. The area was really nice and the room in the ‘Wijnvat’ too. The big problem was the heater didn’t work very well which mean we slept in a very cold room (15 degrees the morning after). We both slept with our clothes - not really nice and it apparently ruined our experience. So sad because we really liked the rest of the room. We told the hotel receptionist about the issue but no reaction.

Great place to stay en very lovely staf. So friendly and helpful. We will come again soon

Check the opening of the kitchen... the website shows open until 2200. Kitchen closed on 2030. Fortunately there was a lovely lady who was willing to help out. She deserves 5 stars

Our experience at De Vrouwe van Stavoren was not great - maybe we were unlucky or arrived at a difficult moment (at the end of a busy breakfast). We wanted to have a coffee but were not welcomed by anyone even after some wait. Finally after asking and being allowed to sit down, nobody came to take our order even though waitresses passed by. In the end we decided to leave (and had our coffee in Koudum).

This place was amazing. The staff were beyond helpful and kind. They assisted us with translating the local language into our native tongue. The food was fantastic. Super fun atmosphere. Would to go back and spend more time there.
