Bakker Timmer's egg cakes are a good reason to move to Stadskanaal. Life has many windfalls and setbacks, but an egg cake from Timmer always manages to bring me back to the carelessness that I had as a child. If I take a bite of this piece of Stadskanaal culture, I don't have to worry about the primal part of my existence for a while. Delicious with a cup of coffee.
