I used to love this bakery, but I am getting less and less enthusiastic! Picked up my son's birthday cake today and we really weren't happy with it. I ordered chocolate cake, and they made white base cake with a lot of almost liquid chocolate cream (the cake almost collapsed). They knew it was an eighteen year old but they put flowers and bees on it !! I just wanted a big 18 on the cake. Horrible.

Verhoog's, Beethovenlaan, Voorschoten: always great (5 stars) due to staff and bakery quality. But what about the baguette today (July 4)? Not crunchy, even chewy.
