Since I started here last summer I've lost 9kg and I'm fitter, stronger and leaner than I've ever been in my life. This gym is as good as it gets with professional training and a great sense of community.

Steel Train CrossFit combines strength training, explosive plyometrics, speed training, olympic- and power-style weight lifting, kettle bells, body weight exercise, gymnastics and endurance exercise. It’s fun, intensive and you have to give it all you got. CrossFit mantra: preparing the body “not only for the known, but also the unknown”. At Steel Train CrossFit we have the best coaches, the best training buddies and the best CrossFit box in the world! In the first time in my life I’m addicted to sports😍. Just gotta love it!!

Steel Train Crossfit is a great Crossfitbox. Not long after STC was found, I joined the box. I felt immediately welcome there. The trainers Erik, Victoria, Tijn and Suzan ensure high quality Crossfit classes. There’s always a functional warm up to prevent injuries. They keep a close eye on how you perform the exercise and give you feedback if needed. In the 1,5 years I trained here I never had a major injury. At every class I’ve always had a nice sweat during the workout of the day. Those are 2 things that I find very important: no injuries and a good sweat. I think most do. Here at STC there’s a great vibe. Before the class starts you can have a nice talk with the members and when the class ends, people usually stay for a coffee (or a protein shake). This is quite unique, you won’t see this at every Crossfitbox, let alone at a normal gym where everyone goes training with their music plugged in and does their own workout. Joining STC you become part of a community of people that want to improve or maintain their health and fitness. Sharing this ‘lifestyle’ or ‘interest’ is a lot of fun. It doesn’t matter what your fitness level is because you share this same interest. I highly recommend people who want to improve their health and fitness and want to find a fun way of working out, to go contact STC for an introduction.

I've been a member of several different crossfit gyms (having moved a few times), and this is as good as it gets. It's more a community than gym, filled with great people who push and encourage each other to get better every day while having fun doing it. And that tone and culture are set by Erik. He's an excellent coach, taking time to provide detailed instructions on movements and making sure everyone gets the best workouts possible, no matter your skill or fitness level. It's so good that my wife and 3 kids are also members.

I started doing Crossfit 4 years ago and through extensive business traveling have seen many Crossfit gyms around the world. Since moving back to The Netherlands I now call Steel Train my home gym. The way Erik and his team run the gym is truly top notch; lots of attention on technique, fun workouts, great tips and truly a genuine interest in you as somebody trying to better yourself, be that losing weight, getting fit, get stronger, rehab from injury etc. In Crossfit, you can scale any workout, adjusting it to your current fitness level. Be prepared to see some dramatic changes in your overall physical and mental fitness! Lets go!
