For a partnership I had to declare the deed of incorporation and the share register of all underlying BVs, while this information is available and retrievable at the Chamber of Commerce. Apparently this civil-law notary has more faith in the yellowed foundation deeds and share registers found in the depths of my attic room than in the Chamber of Commerce. I have experienced this method as old-fashioned, finicky and customer-unfriendly.
