BE CAREFUL WITH THIS BROKER. The broker has acted with no professionalism and dishonesty. Since the beginning they were selling a property with unclear information and hiding problems the house has. After negotiations and final agreement, we signed a contract for a house that was advertised with 110 m², our appraiser found out that the house was 10 metres less. This enormous mistake caused several problems including the rejection from the bank for the mortgage. Hooghlanden Makelaars did not respond with professionalism but contrary, proposed to have another taxation arranged by them where all the information could be changed. Extremely rude staff who is completely taking advantage of the current difficult rental market in Den Haag. Not being able to help is one thing, making clients feel bad about themselves is another. Cannot recommend.

Deliberately disrespectful, blunt, unreasonable, offensive and accusatory, that's how I would describe the broker I came into contact with. Apparently they call it professionalism on their website. The real estate agent acted as buying agent in the sale of the house. After a few (incorrect) findings, false accusations were made and threatened. Working on the basis of trust and good intentions was unknown to him. Working on the basis of threats and intimidation is what he does. I would not recommend this broker. In fact, if you are looking for a broker who gives proper definition and meaning to professionalism, I would strongly advise against them. Fortunately, I have a large network of colleagues, friends and acquaintances that I can protect from using their services. Just give me a broker who takes care of things, treats both buyer and seller with respect, keeps agreements and is professional enough to recognize when he / she is wrong.

At the beginning of the following week, the bids were neatly reviewed and advised me in choosing the right offer. My house was sold well above the asking price through good negotiation. And soon following the signing of the purchase agreement and the key handover at the notary, etc .. Incidentally, I was kept well informed of the state of affairs in the meantime, which I experienced as pleasant. After the sale of my house, the buyer came up with numerous defects for which I was not liable. In this process too, Hooghlanden has assisted, advised and represented my interests without hesitation. As a result, the situation has been resolved in a neat manner in consultation with the buyer and a long rut of reproaches has been avoided.
