Euro Hotel Centrum

The only good things about this hotel is price and location. Staff is fun, but not overly professional. Rooms are stuffy and there's lots that need to be fixed. Elevator is broken, key card system didn't seem to work, table lamps in the room without a wall socket to plug them in, etc. This place has potential, but desperately needs a make-over.

I just want to start of by saying I’m nowhere near picky and we definitely got what we paid for for the low price of €50. Upon arriving, we thought the hotel looked pretty old which isn’t an automatic turn off. Our room looked quaint so we were happy with it! Later that night we tried turning on the tv realizing the TV didn’t even work. Again, not an automatic turn off. We can live without a TV. I thought it was a bit humorous so I looked at the reviews online and every single review had...you guessed it...bed bugs. After reading that we started to notice small bugs on the bed and just flicked them off trying not to freak ourselves out. Then the larger ones started coming out on the pillow and after talking about it we decided to check out. What I thought was weird was when we were checking out, the front desk agent didn’t find it surprising at all that we were leaving! Almost as if this was normal. All in all, just expect the bed bugs.

Value for money. Very basic. Has all you need. No luxuries what so ever. So don't expect too much. Amenities close by.

It's really basic. It stems from the late sixties I guess and nothing much has been done since then it seems. Good beds though and (and this I find not very often) a really good cold shower! My room was really warm and I could not turn the heater down it seemed. Good for a cheap crash, but I wouldn't recommend it for a weekend with your love for example 😋

So i stayed at euro hotel with my girlfriend and only saw the reviews after we booked. I panicked and couldn’t cancel because I wouldn’t had gotten a refund. I decided we would check the room thoroughly because of the reviews we saw and if we found anything we would ask for a refund or something to be done about the situation. The first night went well and we slept peacefully. there was however a sheet that they put at the foot of the bed that didn’t smell so good if I had to describe its smell it smelt like jeans that hadn’t been washed in 4 weeks, and I know how those jeans smell I’ve had them before. The second night my girlfriend uncovered the bed and was about to sleep when she saw what looked to be a cockroach, but upon further inspection I noticed it was a bed bug. I trapped it in a bottle and then continued lifting up the sheet I then found a bigger one I put it into the bottle. My girlfriend went to complain and they upgraded us to a suite. She also asked for an extended stay or later check out but due to 2nd Christmas they have to call the manager because their understaffed with cleaners and would have to pay them more, so we’re going to hear from them in the morning. Luckily she decided to uncover the sheet and prevented us from getting bitten. I feel so sorry for the people that got bitten or had a bad experience.
