Stena Line Nederland

We went on a road trip to Europe from England to Norway. On the way from england to France we booked with DFDS which was a much better ferry service. The only reason we booked with stena was because our last destination was in Holland and Stena are unfortunately the only company operating from holland to uk. DFDS provided us with a free meal voucher and their food was much better, their boarding and departure was also more smoother. DFDS’s prices are also cheaper. There was also no brown sugar! I cant understand how a big international company doesn’t have brown sugar. It was one thing after another, everything went wrong with this journey. You would have thought that during the covid period Stena Line would have at least have ensured that their bathrooms had adequate soap but there was none there in any of the 3 soap dispensers in the mens bathrooms. Ludicrous I dont know how they can get away with this!!! We we’re delayed 2 hours due to bad weather which is not Stena lines fault but you would have thought they would offer at least free complimentary tea or coffee. Never booking with them again.. very disappointed.

Great company. Lovely staff and great customer service. Wouldn't use anyone else from now on.

cool but slow... appr. 32km/h... But we arrived almost in time... The choice of vegan food is not so big...

This is by far the most comfortable way of traveling by car from North West Europe to the UK. I recommend booking a hut so you can make the crossing while you are resting. I travelled with my wife and 2 years old kid(+ other family members) and it was very convenient.

Special thanks to Duncan who organized the stairways/lift! Grand job!!! Very politly asking the people to use the stairs and keep the lift open for disabeled people. Keep it up!
