Zein Childcare I THE LITTLE CASTLE

I find it the best so far for children's best care and development.

Our daughter has been there for more than a year and we are very pleased. The premises are amazing with beautiful rooms and a big garden with toys, slides, etc. for the kids to play. Every day, the kids have new activities planned, new topics to discuss. They have their own private chef cooking everything from (organic) scratch. The entire staff is also very friendly and knowledgeable. They listen to requests and acted on most of them. In a nutshell, a great international daycare. Our daughter is excited to go to school every morning! I have heard negative comments about this place with which I completely disagree. If you do not want your child to be surrounding by other crying babies, get a personal nanny! it is still a day care after all.

Our daughter went to Zein from when she was 6 months old and at the start we were very pleased with the service. Our first impression was: a daycare where the focus was on kids first with excellent service towards the children. However, the last couple of weeks our daughter’s behavior started changing. She cried loud when we picked her up, and wanted to drink extra in the evenings. Around that time we also saw one of the new teachers yelling at another teacher, in front of us parents. This made us worry what happens when we are not there.. In the following period we saw the same teacher acting stressed out towards the children, snapping at the smallest things (again in front of us, parents). On top of that, when we counted the kids compared to the amount of teachers, they did not comply with the minimum amount of teachers needed. When contacting management about this, we were not taken seriously at all. I only regret not quitting this daycare earlier! At the new daycare they don’t have a personal cook, the building doesn’t look like a castle… But what they do have is less babies per nanny, a nice open building where everyone can hear eachother and a calm atmosphere with occasionally a crying baby, also during busy times in the morning. Clearly, kids do not come first here and parent’s worries about their children are not being taken serious.
