Providing the correct documents was also fairly easy through their own portal and if there were any questions as to whether we had supplied the correct documents, we received a quick response. Due to the corona and also being an entrepreneur in the hospitality industry, everything fell into the water and you have a lot of questions and uncertainties. During this time we were also well supported and advised. Unfortunately, we have to wait a while but as soon as possible everything is in the starting blocks to be able to move. Very bad! I had turned to the Hypotheker Woerden to obtain a mortgage. I was in a hurry with this because the purchased house would already be delivered 6 weeks after the first meeting with the Hypotheker. During the first orientation meeting, the consultant presented a timeline which appealed to me, because with this timeline the financial part would be in jugs and pitchers well before the completion of the house. Subsequently also signed the order for services. After 3 weeks, after requesting information several times, we found out that the timeline the advisor had presented to me was way too rosy. It could still take a few weeks, which would cause us serious problems with the completion, but also with the planned renovation that would start immediately after completion. We immediately broke the agreement. I knew that something still had to be paid, but because we canceled the assignment before the first consultation in accordance with the service assignment, I had counted on € 350. After a few weeks, however, I received an invoice of € 1165 !!! "Because the advisory process had already started." However, I have never been allowed to receive advice! I have referred this matter to Kifid through my legal assistance. However, the latter argued in favor of the Hypotheker. And why? Because I cannot prove the consultant's verbal commitment! And guess 3x what the advisor says? "I never said that!" So now I'm just going to pay that invoice, because I can't prove that of course. But let this review be a warning to you. If necessary, record your conversations, because apparently a consultant can say what he wants to get the job in, and then put his own spin on what he has said. I don't have a good word for it!
