Bought cheese croissant which is dry and quite tasteless, but costs 2 euros. At the Jumbo across the street they are twice as tasty and half cheaper.
The girls who work there use gloves for packing the bread but also for cleaning (mopping). When I say something about that, the response is “I also have my cleaning tasks”. Very bizarre, especially in these times when hand hygiene is not on top of mind, let alone a neat apology.
Get your oliebollen for old and new oliebollen on New Year's Eve, you get a bag of currant buns. Very nice if you find out there in the evening and you do not have any oliebollen.
