Julian and the staff are extremely knowledgeable and attentive. Our suite was amazing. Very very comfortable in every way. Room service is very quick and the restaurant is delicious as well. Perfect location. Walk to everything. Love this place. Intend to return.

I am several months late writing this review, but must say what a memorable experience we had at this historic gem. We were moving back the the States June 2020, amidst a very stressful time and wanted to have one last special Amsterdam memory to take with us. This place was just perfect, beyond perfect actually. The atmosphere, artwork, architectural details, views, food and staff were top notch. The front desk was very helpful when we discovered I had made the reservation for 3 rooms instead of 2. Something you don’t hear everyday in The Netherlands, “Not a problem”, to those who have lived here, was a sigh of relief after 2 awful weeks with our moving company. We just wanted an easy, relaxing mini staycation and they provided. The people who work here really make you feel important, not like it’s their job to do, but because they do care. Fresh flowers outside, beautiful June weather to have a drink on the canal, and the most beautifully appointed blue room, down to the door handles, were stunning. We hope to come back someday when NL lets us travel back to our second home. ❤️

We stayed on Sunday night as part of their "staycation" and had a fabulous room with a little balcony overlooking the beautiful Herengracht. What an amazing and luxurious experience! The hotel is gorgeous, featuring a great private art collection and library. Wherever you go there is something beautiful to look at. The staff was so helpful and friendly! They made us feel very welcome and provided us with a genuinely warm service. Food and drinks are delicious and made with great care. The scrambled eggs for breakfast were some of the best I've had in an extremely long time. If you're looking for a bit of luxury in a great location, this is your place!

Absolutely Amazing Suite! On a canal. Beautifully decorated. Kitchen totally equipped. Charming and the location near everything. Parking space is great! Wonderful staff!!

I never leave reviews, but for this amazing hotel I have to make an exception. I never thought one of the most memorable hotel experiences of my life would take place in my home town of Amsterdam. My wife and I celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary here with our children, and from the moment we stepped indoors we were greeted with good humour and genuine, warm-hearted hospitality: from the front desk to the excellent food and service at the brasserie, to the superfriendly staff at breakfast. This hotel is run by true professionals, with the lightest touch and an easy manner. Almost no need to say that our quadruple room was perfect. But it was. Top marks for this gem in our own capital.
