Recently my 14 years old cat Kali has been diagnosed with brain cancer. I was obviously devastated since my cat and I have been together for so long. Luckily I met these amazing doctors that not even time of a week since the diagnosis have been able to plan the operation to remove the tumor and save my baby. Now Kali is jumping, running, wanting to play like a kitty again, like I haven't seen her for so long! Me and my family couldn't be happier to see this surprising outcome and we'll be forever grateful for this second chance of life our Kali has been given!!!

I called this morning because my dog got hurt, a lady picked up the phone and asked if I could wait a little bit. After that I was on hold for almost 17min and no one picked it up. Ridiculous, I had to give up and search for help somewhere else.

Having a pet in medical distress is incredibly challenging emotionally, so we were very grateful for how patient and informative the team was here. Our 6 month old puppy was sent in for same day emergency endoscopy via our vet. While the staff at front desk were not very clear about what is happening and a bit rude, everyone else was WONDERFUL. The doctors and nurses who came to take him explained every step to us and what we can expect as possible outcomes. They came out again just after the endoscopy to share an update, and at the end had a typed paper with aftercare instructions. Even though it was a really difficult day, as soon as the vet came out I felt we were in the best hands possible and that helped a LOT. Would definitely recommend this location to anyone in a difficult medical situation with their pet. ADDITIONAL NOTE - I see some people complaining about the cost of these services. This is ridiculous, of course specialist emergency medical care is expensive! If your pet is here that means your animal has an extreme or abnormal problem. The prices are VERY clearly communicated to you in advance by your vet and also at MCD (including a range when it's not possible to know exact cost beforehand, such as in our case). It is your choice if you want to provide the best medical care for your animal, if you are worried about this you should make sure to have pet insurance in advance.

Good to OK for specific tests and second opinions, I was in touch with 3 experts. I could easily identify cases when they were talking with confidents about things that they don't know well. Tests repeated without any good reason and much worse. Very bad for on going issues treating. Find your self a good, experienced and dedicated Vet that will monitor what the MCD experts are doing in case that he/she cannot do some of the tests himself/ herself - I suggest that you will be super careful. They provide also very bad service at the front desk/ phone, not effective service. They never address any complaint as described in their website. The emergency service is OK.

My cat had to undergo a really complicated kidney surgery and stay hospitalised for about a week for aftercare. Veterinarians in MCD are highly qualified and truly care for animal wellbeing. Besides that I can’t help but admire at how patient they are since I know how my cat can behave when one tries to do any medical manipulations 😼
