Become stronger thanks to Vita Sana Mirjam from Vita Sana in Groningen is a personal trainer who I can recommend to everyone. Now as assessment ***** there and that review is ready. Yes, in my opinion, most people would post a review on social media. I want to be more extensive in this case. I had 8 months of weekly support from Mirjam and for that reason alone she deserves a review that is longer than 1 sentence (of course with *****). In April 2018 I thought it was high time to start exercising again. After being inactive for months, I realized that I had to live healthier. And that's how I (not coincidentally) ended up with Vita Sana, which means Healthy Living in Italian. I thought I could use the help of a strong girl with Italian roots at that time. To my satisfaction Mirjam responded quickly to my e-mail in which I had asked her if I could make an appointment with her. When the time came, I did not feel like it and I did not show up. In her reaction to my apologies via Whatsapp, she said that I did not have to worry and that we could just make a new appointment. She also advised me not to sit in that. These friendly Whatsapp messages confirmed my idea that she seemed a suitable person to accompany me in the gym. The following week, I was lucky enough to show up. We conducted an intake interview, in which I had ample opportunity to tell about, among other things, my then gloomy moods. I said that I wanted to be positive in life again and that I thought that sports could help. She showed that she wanted to give me a helping hand. It struck me during the conversation that she listened well and that she has a great empathy. She immediately knew what kind of training would suit me well: the full body workout, training that focuses on the whole body. My training sessions with Mirjam soon started to bear fruit. Her presence and encouragement immediately had a motivating effect on me. Every time during the sessions I managed to go to my limit and occasionally even over that. Because her training sessions are always varied, I also had fun in fitness. No training is the same with Vita Sana. Although we were very busy with the so-called compound exercises such as the deadlift, squat and benchpress, but often as a superset in combination with other types of exercises. In addition, I learned from Mirjam that there are several variants of these three exercises. For example, I had never heard of the Sumo Deadlift before, where, like a sumo wrestler, you stand wider than shoulder width with your feet. A charming exercise! The deadlift, the king of the exercises, eventually became my favorite activity in the gym. I always get a lot of challenge from this complicated exercise. A good technical control is essential to achieve the maximum effect and to prevent injuries. Fortunately, Mirjam was always around when he learned this exercise. Thanks to her years of experience in the deadlift, she is the designated person for this. My original goal of lifting 100 kg at the end of the year turned out to be too modest. I already succeeded in September and my personal record is currently at 120 kg! The personal training of Mirjam at Vita Sana has made me a stronger person both physically and mentally. She is knowledgeable, enthusiastic and has a listening ear. I am therefore convinced that everyone can benefit from coaching by Mirjam. Mirjam, grazie di tutto!
