Until a week ago, they were open 24/7. Now, without informing anyone as to why, they are not. Due to this and Corona, it is always fully booked and you'll only be able to work out once or twice a week. Really pointless to have a subscription currently if you ask me.

I am really disappointed in Basicfit Vismarkt, I do not understand why they stopped being 24/7 after advertising this for months and maybe only being 24/7 for a month or two. It does not make sense, as all locations in Groningen are booked out 2 to 3 days in advance (sometimes even 4 days)... So you will be able to go to the gym 2, maximum 3 times a week only if you are very lucky with your timing.

Very disappointing that they love to parade the fact that they're a 24/7 gym but they're not actually opened 24/7, they close at 22:30 on weekdays and at 16:00 on weekends (absolutely ridiculous). Also finding information on this is next to impossible.

It's a good gym. There are two floors and lots of gym and fitness equipments. The locker room and the number of showers are rather small (no privacy in the shower). Like in every other Basic fit I have been to, the playlist was lame so do not forget your headset. Staff shall be a bit more involved and remind people to clean their gym device after use (it's common sense but most of the people don't do it although this covid19 context)
