Siroopwafels & Banketbakkerij-Tearoom Berg's Bakery

Very nice place. The authentic "Goudse siroopwafels" (sirup waffle, sweet, caramel flavoured).

What an amazing shop; you can even see the bakery making the cakes live! And of course the best waffles in town!

They have a good variety of items, a lot of bakery items. However, we arrived very early and not everything on the menu was available. Service was very standoff-ish and it took us forever to get the check even though we were the only ones there. The waitress was chatting the whole time and could not see us trying to get the check to be on our way. Then another waitress spotted us and came to the aid. The place also felt a bit dirty, dusty on the wood panels on the wall, had a squashed bug on the menu (which I understand might not be their fault but still). Hot drinks and cookies were very average. I was hoping for a fresh Stroopwafel but got a re-heated old one sadly. Overall a place that looks good but a very disappointing experience.
