Met a bunch of these guys at the Classical Aikido summer school couple of years back. Their knowledge of aiki arts is as deep as it is wide. Thanks for your hospitality and hope to see you sometimes soon.

A warm welcoming dojo. A great place to experience the philosophy and art of Aikido. They are a lot of fun too! (They speak English which is great since my Dutch is not so good)

Heiwakan is an Expat friendly Dojo with amazing teachers that have passion to transfer their knowledge both to beginners or advanced students. (they have more than 35 years of experience and trained in Japan too) I am personally thankful for their support with my physical limitation of old injuries and health problems! Heiwakan is a great place where I am able explore movement, meditation and the essence of martial arts in a safe environment. I highly suggest you visit since all the introduction courses are free :)

I have the honor of meeting Wilbert Sensei during his visit to our Renshinkan Dojo in Chiang Mai, Thailand, in 2016. He had spent a week with us and we enjoyed his wonderful instruction, his exuberant spirit, and his deep commitment to the path of aikido. I hope to be able to visit his aikido school heiwakan some day.

The door is wide open for you here. Are you interested in conscious movement and would you like to get acquainted with a form of martial arts, then you can just participate. You don't need any prior knowledge. And from that first time you can take each subsequent training a step further, if you want. The head teachers know what they are talking about. And after 30+ years of experience, they are still learning themselves, which makes it even more interesting.
