People are nice in general . But as an expat the contract is really not tenant friendly . The contract I had was like to pay an additional one month rent if I have to leave before 1 year , which is not in line with Dutch law at all. Tenants can leave at any moment after one month. Stop making use of expats who are not familiar with Dutch housing market and be honest , sincere . Now look at their reply . “Annoying” won’t be a word which professional can use ! If you meant sorry then do write sorry ...the word sorry and annoying is completely different and it won’t be mistaken that easily .

We have rented a house with Interhouse Sassenheim and everything went more than perfect. Pim, the person who was in contact with us was great. He explained everything to us in a really honest way. He made us feel safe and comfortable. He adapted to our needs and schedule to make everything go smooth. On their office in Sassenheim everybody is nice and kind. The service and attention received was very nice. The maintenance service is also really good. They came and fixed everything that needed to be fixed, fast and eficiently. I just can say 10/10 and many thanks!

AVOID this company at all cost! If you ask them questions in regard to their terms and conditions, they no longer want to do business with you. Their terms are legally questionable, and would put both homeowner and renter at jeopardy! Their added value to home owners is zero, their cost is ridiculously high, and they don't accept any responsibility. They just want to take your money as quickly as possible without doing any work.

From the first contact with Interhouse they were quick to respond and very helpful. Pim van der Deijl assisted us from start to finish and was very professional. As an expat, I found them easy to work with and they were very helpful to answer our specific questions.
