Middelburg Abbey

Such a huge incredible building with different functions. There is a museum, part of a university and offices. We loved the inner courtyard.

Beautiful abbey with a nice square ... great architecture

Middelburg Abbey Monastery formed from the 12th century. It includes many beautiful blocks in a large area. Today part of this place is used for offices and museums. Over the centuries it still stands there as a witness of history.
