Such a huge incredible building with different functions. There is a museum, part of a university and offices. We loved the inner courtyard.

If in Middelburg one should visit this location. It feel as if you walk in the far past. Don't forget to visit the museum with antique and contemporary art.

Beautiful abbey with a nice square ... great architecture

Middelburg Abbey Monastery formed from the 12th century. It includes many beautiful blocks in a large area. Today part of this place is used for offices and museums. Over the centuries it still stands there as a witness of history.
