I've been getting my hair cut at Astrid's off and on for about 14 years now depending when I'm in the area. She usually remembers when she last saw me and how she did my hair last time, so I don't have to remember what I asked for and can just ask for "the usual but shorter" or "the usual but a bit longer". She's cheerful and happy to have a chat, but also okay if you want to just relax. The atmosphere is generally calm but efficient.
