Huisduinen is an old fishing village. Even before the Delta Works, it has become part of the mainland. The many wooden houses and centuries old church form the core together with classic stone buildings. The lighthouse Lange Jaap and the Kijkduin fort with sea aquarium together with the Atlantikwall remains and museum soon become a magnet. The beautiful viewpoints, beach and dune areas are wonderful places to stay. A number of B & B and two hotels are the only accommodation options. The village has no shops at the Tesselaar farm shop. Den Helder is only one km away. There is a hospital nearby for care.

Beautiful project in a unique location - former site of the navy armament workshop - the gate and the hall are still there - furthermore the Atlantic Wall Museum is located in the old casino - beautiful houses
