I hope there are several taxi companies on Texel, because this service is three times nothing. When we dropped off, the driver clearly indicated that he would pick us up in the evening. However, when we wanted to go home at 2 o'clock, taxi Dirk was inaccessible. Literally and figuratively, taxi Dirk left us in the cold.

I myself have also been a taxi driver on Texel, and since the bars close at a fixed time, it is not always possible to book a taxi on the way back, as everyone wants to go home at the same time. There is no point in answering the phone at that time, as the waiting times will be too long at that time and the person with the phone may be driving at that time.

On the way there we were told to call if we wanted to go back to the campsite, but they don't even answer the phone. Never experienced such a bad service, ridiculous.

Bad service, no longer available in the evening to make a reservation for the way back. This while we had to call if we wanted to be picked up.
