Great room with bubble bath and private sauna, but what is with that TV?! I mean no streaming, and you’re not allowed access to the HDMI port. ☹️
Been staying there lately and the room was pretty dirty with spider webs by more then a window and the TV was not working!

Pros: Very friendly service, quality food/bar and rooms with private saunas. Walking distance to Zaandam train station. Great rest & relax package offering breakfast and late checkout.
Cons: TV doesn’t work with streaming services (essential for a lockdown staycation which would make me reconsider staying again). Spa rooms could also benefit from dimmable/mood lights.
I didn't book this hotel, but I'm excited about its exterior. If you are in Amsterdam you should take a train from Central station to Zaandam. You will find this hotel right next to station. I really recommend to see this fantastic building 🙂
This is a good value place, a small upgrade from the cheapest room gets you king sized bed and a separate shower and bathtub, clean and comfy, minimalist. Not sure what got them the 4 star rating but probably cost for value. No minibar or coffee maker, but a vending section, so you do need to go out if you don't want room service. Great location next to central station and 5 mins from the Dam.
