Amazing mango pie and super smoothie. Good coffee. This is the perfect place to recharge after a long biking ride, or simply to enjoy a break during the day. Loved the atmosphere and service. Beautiful view on the old church.

Very tasty. French toast and Salmon sandwich. Nice fresh and thick bread. Also enjoyed the caramel latte and 'vitaal' tea. Good place for working remote and the sweets (cakes, cookies etc.) also looked fresh and delicious.

Very good food, very nice service. And typically one of very few places which already open early.

The best coffee around the Ruïnekerk. Delicious pastries. Sympathetic service. REALLY a moment of happiness

UPDATE: 08-11-2020 In the resit and in the context of supporting the local catering industry in difficult times, I tried again this afternoon to order coffee and cake at Echt. Again barked by an overheated cashier, who told me in an extremely unfriendly way that I had to keep a meter and a half away from a customer who was waiting for his order while I glance into the cake display case. It is very good that staff are instructed to observe the RIVM measures, but please do so in a customer-friendly manner and set a good example YOURSELF. Customers just pass each other through the small entrance. Waiting for the order while sitting in your shop was also unclear to several customers and against the rules. As a result of this second incident we immediately left the business. Then we discovered another nice and nice coffee place, where we ate delicious coffee with tasty cheesecake. Here we were welcomed warmly. (At Merel's next to HEMA .... '] No more REAL for us! On a Saturday in July we had a delicious coffee here with an excellent chresecake. Last Monday, August 31, we went, full of expectation, to Echt again for lunch. After we both entered the restaurant, a blonde waiter asked us in a loud and totally customer-unfriendly way to disinfect our hands at the pump next to the entrance. After we did that, we took a seat in the case. The blonde waiter didn't give us a glance from then on and seemed to ignore us. Our appetites and mood diminished immediately. A great pity because we had come to Echt especially to have a nice lunch. Normally 5 stars but due to the waiter's customer unfriendliness 3.
