Their customer service is worth a star for so many reasons that I don't have the space for it. It starts of course with the fact that they are not available at the weekend. In addition, they simply do not keep their promises. ("Oh, you told a colleague last time that you want to switch from manual payments to direct debits? I see nothing in return"). I can go on for a long time, but I don't feel like it. Meaningless. It is very likely that the men and women who are in charge of American Express in America have thought that they can easily increase global sales by also opening a sales office in the Netherlands. The poorly translated telephone menus speak only confirm me in that feeling. And also the fact that the people who work there really only get a hungry wage. Do you find it strange that you get this?
