Bakker Bart

This was the first stop for 4 weary, hungry travelers fresh off the train in The Netherlands for the first time. Their service was excellent, the coffee and pastries were reasonably priced and delightful at that!

I used to walk past this shop every day, which was always a severe temptation, with the bread, pastries and pies for sale. I recommend you give in and go in. You won't regret it...

Friendly and welcoming service received.

We have been there several times, we really gave it a chance, but it is always very disappointing. The donuts are always dry, the cheese sticks almost never fresh, the cheese rolls are dripping with fat and I don't find it very hygienic. Once my daughter wanted to choose a pastry from the display case and I asked what flavor it was, the response we got; 'I don't know that either, I didn't make them anyway'. This person also saw no possibility to inquire. This example is somewhat similar to the service level of this Bakker Bart. We will not be there anymore.

Nice sandwich. Not too busy at the moment, but it does run well.
