Unfortunately, a lot of staff turnover, so the treating dentist can change. This is not properly communicated with patients, whereby the dentist often speaks poorly Dutch. A hole in my molar was poorly filled here, resulting in pain complaints. Unfortunately, this has led to inflammation and root canal treatment. Meanwhile, this molar is crumbling further and further with a crown in prospect. I have never had these problems with other dentists. No more Molenbeecke for me ...

It would be more transparent and professional to first ask whether it is okay for a dental hygienist to fill in holes instead of the dentist. Certainly without a dentist, that can easily cause serious problems. With my son there is a crater of a hole filled by the dental hygienist, without a dentist involved, and that now causes complications. It is only in 2020 that dental hygienists are allowed to independently diagnose and fill as a test. Working under one roof as a guideline is of course a wash nose if the dentist is not consulted.
