The only 'tasty' bread I've honestly tried in the city. Good value for the quality too. Top baker.
Best Baker in Groningen, hands down. Very friendly staff, food always fresh and a great range. Haven't been disappointed yet.

Bread is tasty, Admiral bread from them is very good.
I would ignore the baking rolls and the baguette is not worth it at all.
The savory pastries (Pecan rolls or apple slippers) are also very doable.
This is clearly not the main office, which is on Hereweg. This branch has staff who only sell something and do not know what actually appears to be in the bread. If you ask for an alternative to their Admiral bread in terms of taste, don't come up with a tiger bread or a simple whole grain bread.
