Great quality patisserie, great coffee but ambiance of an elderly home.

To our regret, we too have had to experience the decline in quality of this store. We collected a number of Moorheads every week. Delicious at home. But recently this pleasure has also deteriorated. The chocolate is now limited to the top, the rest is a dry dough. But the worst thing we find is that the real whipped cream has been replaced by a "fake whipped cream." We found out after we had the Moorhead on a plate next to our cup of tea. And saw the tuft of "whipped cream" on top of the moorkop slowly slide down to our plate. After which the "whipped cream" slowly turned into a puddle of white colored water. So fake whipped cream. I also experienced 3 times that the "whipped cream" in the moor cup was full of ice crystals. Also from the freezer? We have reported this discreetly to the store. The only response we got was, "weird, we never get complaints about that". In other words, "you suck your neck". Misplaced arrogance at the wrong time. Pity.

A household name for us for over 15 years. Quality. But it looks like THIS company is also suffering from the corona, and when so many companies drop the quality requirements. For many years I bought at least 20 apple fritters at Christmas, to full satisfaction. Almost crispy, thick slice of apple and plenty of food. Delicious! But now? You can taste it with the first bite. Hardly any apple flavor, food? not to taste. The bottom of the fritter is wet, soggy. Located in the freezer. I don't get it and cut the fritter open horizontally. The apple slice is just 2 mm thick! The food (and we really scraped it with a spoon) is half a tea spoon. People, people! Ask a quarter or 50 cents more and sell the old quality again! Because you can buy this junk in any supermarket, for half! Very disappointed!

Delicious cakes, all freshly baked of course. the employees are very customer-friendly, and really take the time for the customers. There is also a lot of choice for gluten-free eaters. It is made in the bakery, so for people who are super sensitive to gluten, this is not a good choice. Our daughter with Celiac Disease has been delicious.
