Van der Valk Hotel Sassenheim - Leiden

Fantastic hotel...has a simple elegance and has one of the best breakfasts(if not the best) I've had at any hotel in my many travels. Surely worth a stay.

We stayed here a few weeks ago for our honeymoon. The place is extremely nice with massive rooms! What was really amazing though was the front desk and especially Glen S! Wow, he went above and beyonnd to suprise my new wife with rose petals, champagne, chocolates and a special card. Thank you so much, really. We were both blown away by how awesome you made our room and also we have to say thanks to Melony who was very lovely during our stay! Thanks team 😁😁

Friendly staff, decent food and hotel room was nice. Only thing is that you can’t leave the windows open during the night because of the noise from the highway.

Ample parking spaces. Easily accessible. Friendly staff. Spacious room. Great bathroom facilities. It’s even got a casino in the hotel. What more do you need?
