Trying to get someone on the phone to get some better information what options we as a family have as my father is very sick an may pass at any time. So far every option tells me to visit the website or just breaks the connection. I'm disappointed and shocked at this level of service.
No use ringing them. They just look at the website and tell you what's on there.
The website says you advised to quarantine doesn't actually say you are REQUIRED to. They couldn't tell me either.
When I called the Embassy to understand the travel situation to the UK during COVID-19, the robot on the phone let me know that I am calling in non-business hours. I called at 10:15am on a friday. Then it proceeded to tell me their opening times where 9am to 6pm. Why the hell are the phone lines closed then? Can't even provide basic travel information. Not even on the GOV UK Website.
Waste of time calling them been on the phone for 2 hours pressing 0 every couple seconds, its a miracle some people got through to them at all
no use calling... Dutch Ambassey in London cannot answer any questions and send me to this number... this is the government that is supposed to help us??
