This has to be one of the most frustrating companies to deal with ever. So many broken promises, “we’ll fix this…”, lies lies lies. I had rats and overflowing sewers and they did nothing. I had to move out. I received no compensation or return of overpaid rent. I had to take legal action to just get my deposit back. Steengoed Partners target naive expats, I would seriously avoid them. The properties they rent and sell have facades of newness but the reality is a shining facia over 20 year old air filter, doors that fall off and sachet windows that don’t seal and let in the Netherlands cold winds. If you have the misfortune of renting with them then get the Huurcommisie to review your overpriced rent (it’s free and they will reduce your rent). Seriously no sane Dutch person would pay the insane prices these guys try to charge. Also underneath the shiny looking property I rented it was full of rubbish that meant I had fly and moth infestations. If you touch anything these people have been near make sure you inspect it will. In my 20 years of renting I have never had such problems. Awful

Apartment bought in 2011, and since then I only have to discover defects. Finishing is excellent (so looks fine and attractive at first), but underlying poorly laid out: materials that are not good and not in accordance with the regulations, drain that is continuously clogged (everyone knows that you should not use 90 degree turns, especially) not if you let 5 drainage points come together, and an open end is of course completely out of the question). You will only find out if your beautifully laid floor is completely open .. In other words, do not only look at the appearance, but especially pay attention to the soundness of the construction, to prevent surprises afterwards.

Great company, everything arranged to perfection, always available! Was a big project with many challenges, everything worked out and we enjoy our dream home every day!
