I was going to travel through the USA in early 2020. I had mapped out part of it myself and then wanted to do a group tour. I soon ended up on the page of Oak Travel. I booked a group trip with them and immediately noticed that the communication was very clear and smooth. The contact felt personal and familiar, you talk to people who have a genuine passion for travel. Unfortunately my trip was cut short by Corona and the group tour I booked through Oak Travel could not go ahead. I was already in America for my own booked part and received little information from the American government. Fortunately, I was continuously informed by Oak Travel. They asked how things were going and passed on the latest developments to me. They were always available and gave tips. Unfortunately I had to cancel the trip. Oak Travel then handled the cancellation in a proper manner. I will of course book my next trip with them again. I can definitely recommend Oak Travel.

Where can you find personal involvement in planning your holiday? At Oak Travel! We started planning our trip to New Zealand well in advance (July 2019). Because we were going 3 months, it was important to find a camper with a good price / quality ratio. After first contacting landlords in New Zealand myself, I ended up at OAK Travel / Joey. This worked much better and a good deal was found relatively quickly. In addition, excellent thought was given to keep the costs of insurance acceptable and to keep the risks of early payments (unfortunately necessary for New Zealand) as low as possible. We had a wonderful trip from the end of December to the end of March 2020, in which we also received part of the upcoming Corona measures. Here too, Joey was proactive by sending us an email asking how it went and what he could do. Where other travel organizations completely went under in the communication tsunami, OAK remained accessible.

I am very satisfied with the service offered and recommend Oak Travel. We had rented a campervan from a well-known rental company in Australia with Oak as an intermediary. Joey van Oak had sent an email in advance with points to watch out with the message that we can always call or email if there are problems. The campervan was disappointing on several points, just like the service offered by the rental company. We sent an email to Oak and received a quick response. The rental company gave home fairly quickly and wanted to compensate us for the 21 days 2 days, but this was not in proportion to the problems we experienced. We had contact with the rental company ourselves after they had agreed this with Oak. Unfortunately, we felt that they were not taken seriously. I then showed Oak travel what their reactions were by e-mail with the message that we did not feel we were taken seriously. We felt a bit silly, because we were afraid to come across as whines. Fortunately we were taken seriously and the rental company finally came across the bar with a compensation that we were satisfied with. Oak Travel has put a lot of effort in for us and we are very grateful to them for that.

Also a great success the 2nd time! In 2017 we arrived at Oak Travel after various quotes for the rental of a camper in Australia. Their quick response, the help and the customized offer for the camper choice was a worry less for us as inexperienced travelers! We are going to Australia again in 2020 and that is why we immediately contacted Oak Travel again. Joey again helped us very well and sent us 4 comparable options based on our wishes. Within two days we again booked a camper with a very good feeling. He also gave us tips on the travel plan and the must-do's on the route. Tip; follow them on Facebook or Instagram, which shows that they know what the traveler is looking for from their own experience. I will not waste any more time requesting various quotes, Oak Travel is the absolute must!
