Djed Reizen

Together with my son and brother just returned from Egypt. Our trip with Djed was really fantastic. The trip was entirely to be compiled according to one's own insight. The local staff of Djed will help you by 'unburdening' you (eg Achmed who caught us when getting off the plane in Cairo and led us through all checks in record time) so that you can fully enjoy all new impressions. Review DJed travel 10-9-2018 until 23-9-2018 Together with my son, I decided to travel to Egypt with a reasonable last minute. I ended up at Djed because they had so many 5 star reviews on tripadvisor. After receiving a call, Mr. Ayman Simman received a neatly tailored proposal at home in which everything was arranged for us. We are completely unburdened: "You only have to carry your bag, passport and wallet" That was completely true, the Djed employee in Cairo, Achmed, was already waiting for us at the baggage claim. He arranged our visa and guided us effortlessly through customs in Cairo. He took us to the hotel and checked in for us, delicious! The Dutch-speaking guide Ehab and driver were just in time to pick us up and made sure we enjoyed all the sights. Ehab also explained to us the tip system in Egypt because sometimes you just do not know what a "normal" tip is. In Luxor we were met by the driver and we met Amani and a very good English speaking guide who had studied Egyptology. Osama the employee of Djed arranged a hot air balloon trip for us and took us to a local bar where we enjoyed the surroundings and the customs. After Luxor we sailed over the Nile to Aswan with a super luxury sailing boat (Dahabiya). On the boat we met our new guide Emam and another Dutch couple. The crew was excellent and Emam showed us very expertly the most beautiful places along the Nile. The camel market was very special and when I had booked a trip on the Nasser lake myself Emam did a very good job there. We enjoyed it. Mr Simman and his friendly and knowledgeable staff ensured that we had an unforgettable holiday. A must for anyone who wants to get to know Egypt. Kind regards Niek and Robert Schenning
