Beautiful former court building at the end of the 19th century, designed by the Dutch architect Metzelaar (nomen is almost omen ...), also the designer of the dome prisons in Breda and Arnhem. Due to the reorganization of the judiciary, the building had not been used as a court since 2002. The national monument will be converted into a complex with 24 care homes. The original courtroom will remain intact and will eventually be opened for visitors. But - that will take a while.
