Mosque Al Fitrah

This mosque has recently been discredited by a parliamentary investigation by the national government into, among other things, financing from abroad. According to the researchers, this appears to convey a (strict) Salfinist message (under the influence of, among others, Saudi Arabia) in which children are taught up to 14 hours a week with a message of intolerance & averting of different thinking and thus of the rest of society. , which has, among other things, undesirable consequences, a parallel society that is diametrically opposed to values ​​such as freedom of belief, self-determination, equality and democracy. A true believer chooses a belief out of his own conviction, where he or she is not shielded from people with different opinions or thinking, if someone can form an opinion themselves and the choice for faith should be without any pressure or imposition whereby he or she not be excluded by his family, neighbors or environment if you do not live according to faith or want to (no longer) adhere to it and in which he in turn respects his neighbors and their choices, which others make. Only then can you also speak of true believers, who are purely convinced by the word with an open vision for everything else, whatever faith it is. Something else only leads to a form of oppression, in which there is ultimately no room for a minority of people who think differently (with all the terrible consequences that entails). If this research is correct then it is good to dwell on this & perhaps opt for another mosque that respects people's own freedom of choice & fits better in Dutch society.
