A great place to spend an afternoon with the kids. Entertaining rides and enlightening displays. Lots of beautiful trains and train paraphernalia. Restaurant was nice and facilities amenable. Kids loved it, so did I.

Wonderfully preserved station building which is part of the railway museum. It has an hourly connection by a special train to Utrecht Centraal station, but a much faster way to get there offers bus transport.

Only accessible by commuter train from Utrecht Central Station which takes an absurd 17 minutes because it stands still for almost 10 minutes to 'turn around'. Walking is just as fast! It is also a shame that they are running a 'normal' sprinter. Had been a great ride for an old dog head or something.

Very useful station. Train stops in the museum which is very nice. There are museum trains on the other tracks of the station. Keep in mind that there is a direct train to Utrecht Central Station only once per hour.

There are special trains to the Central Station, with few departures, and historical trains on the platform for free display.
