Voskamp's products are excellent and the staff are always very friendly. But if there are more pigeons in the store walking and flying than there are people in the store, I still have my reservations about hygiene. According to all the staff, the head office does not want to do anything about it and staff are scooped off with a plant sprayer and the remark "then you should just chase them away now and then". I see 2 to 3 times a week that the pigeons do indeed run away from the store and immediately walk back into the store after the saleswoman. Apparently fighting pigeon nuisance is not a priority. A bad thing for a food company and a bad thing for head office personnel to take no action and to provide complaining staff with meaningless solutions. Head office staff do not even take the time and effort to look at the situation because "that takes too much time" according to the salesmen.
