One of the best ice cream! Van Dam is just 15 mins bike-ride away from Haarlem Centrum. The ice cream is just so creamy, tasty & fresh! If you ever travel to Haarlem, please stop by this small town called Heemstede to discover cute restaurants & pubs, and to have an ice-cream at Van Dam!

The best ice cream in North Holland. Fresh ingredients, creamy texture and they don't skimp on portion. Marsepein flavor is loaded with marsepein pieces and the pistachio is sweet with a hint of salt and stuffed with full nuts. They have other flavors but these are our favorite. The ice cream is always top quality. Never old, never over frozen.

Good ice cream. Staff could be friendlier. Price is a bit higher than some other ice cream parlor but it’s ok.

During Spring and Summer Van Dam sells the best Ice by far in the region. They also sell great quality chocolates throughout the year. It can be really bussy however the wait is worth it and to top it all of their prices are fair and the whipcream is very tasty. You can sit outside to enjoy your treats and you can also buy ice in Liters making it a great place to get a nice and tasty dessert for dinner.

Nice selection of gelatos, often long lines because it is so popular. Neighborhood gathering spot.
