Huize Van Wely, since 1922

Whenever I go there, they have only a few types of cakes readily available and everything else is frozen. To me, it is a bit too much money saving for a place in their price range. I prefer fresh cake over frozen anyway. Another thing I care less but still I don’t like is that they are always grumpy when you speak English to them.

Most wonderful cakes. Recommend it, especially the award wining one. Yum!

Fine chocolate house which has long history. The staff apparently overlook Asian visitor which is impolite.

Best Patisserie in Amsterdam by far. Tried 4 other well reviewed places and non of them came even close.
