I never waited so long to get a car. Very slow

The staff member at this service point is extremely skilled and helpful. Always had issues at other Europcar offices in Amsterdam but here I never waited more than 5 minutes for my rental to be completed. Kudos!

Apart from the slow service, the child seat that we had reserved was not there and all we got was a "sorry, we ran out of child seats." so I don't think they know how a reservation works. The reservation keeps the child seat there, that's why you have a reservation. They know how to take the reservation, they just don’t know how to HOLD the reservation and that’s really the most important part of a reservation, the holding. So one of us had to drive to a baby store and buy a child seat, and then drive back, Wasted almost a day of our holiday.

terrible. i received a call in the morning that i will be downgraded. i agreed(though it is against the rules, as they should offer a better car for free, if no available) and asked for the discount. the answer was: “eh, we will see” i always book with extra time gap (earlier than needed to pick up and later than expected to drop off), so i booked for 9.00 to make sure the car is ready. when i arrived at 9.30 i got the info from the hotel, that there is nobody in the office and i had to wait for another half an hour. long story short: they did not want to take my polish card and i had to make a money transfer to my dutch one; so also had to meet charges by the bank. i was chrged 250 (which are still not back into my account after 2 days after rental) i got into the car at 10.20 in the end of all... when i came back, i was just in time 22.30 (exactly the time i planned the end of rental), but the ducking maschine at the hotel shows 5 minutes more.... the foto attached , which i took in the parking( time on the ticket 22.35, though my phone shows 22.32) so... i was charged for an extra hour... never again

This is a Meet & Greet office. So only go there if you have an online reservation already. Also, get on time or call, you take the risk of finding an empty office. The crew is very helpful and to return your car you just need to return the key at the Hotel Reception. Very practical.
