I only wanted to do a minor fix, to straighten out a few teeth. They gave me a plan that was 2 years long, with certain things I did not care to do. It felt like they just looked at my scans, made a general plan and didn’t care to listen to my individual concerns. More like I was just another appointment in the day. I also didn’t get an in-depth discussion of what it would involve. Also, they were running late on schedule so I had to wait 40 min and after 10 minutes doctor interrupted and said she has another customer now so I have to leave...

Highly pretentious employees, particularly those working at the desk. I have spoken with them on the phone as well as face-to-face and I really didn't like their unprofessional and judgmental attitude. Sad to see how these clinics (particularly those located in fancy areas) tend to behave like they are doing you a favour by just doing their jobs. Customer service and overall friendliness are completely lacking at this place. As regards the quality of the actual treatment, I haven't taken a treatment at this place so I cannot render any judgments as to the results. Nevertheless, I have had a consult (which literally did not take more than 10 minutes) and had to pay €50/60 euros.. Easy money.

Due to an accident resulting in a broken jaw, the OLVG and F. Op te Coul made a treatment plan. I have been helped very well and professionally in the 2 years and I am very happy with the result! I recommend the practice to everyone!

Downright bad! After doing some research online .. ended up with this Orthodontist. I have requested information consultations at various practices to see which treatments suit me best and what options there are. In such cases it always seems good to me to consult a second opinion. Especially if you have to pay the costs yourself and it is not reimbursed by, for example, your insurance. To my great surprise, I received a bill for this “informative” consultation. I would like to take you along in this consultation. This was performed at a desk in an office and not on a conventional dental chair in a treatment room. From this desk people looked into my mouth and notions were made while I was sitting on a dining chair, by the way, these notions or the possible treatments discussed were never fed back by means of an e-mail or a callback action. The bill for this informative consultation was € 26.24 !!!!! Much to my surprise and a big question mark over my head where these costs came from. Read back the information of the invitation email. Unfortunately, it contained fine print, indeed describing the cost. On their website under the heading first consultation it is not described anywhere that costs are involved. I have also been in contact with this practice several times by telephone and in no one telephone conversation has it been emphasized that there were costs for this informative consultation. It's ridiculous to charge for this method for this, and something to be ashamed of as an orthodontist practice. These costs have not been had with other practices and purely informative looked at what treatment or options there might be for me.

Orthodontists in Amsterdam have an agreement not to take over each other's patients. All favoritism and everything at the expense of the patient. This ortho is participating, unfortunately.
