Excellent service! I had a mess in my hair and they helped to recover my natural colour and gave shape in my hair. In general great experience, such as the delicious tea and the massage 💆‍♀️ Ask for Melissa she’s an expert!

I enjoy my haircut but the management experience could be better. My appointement started 40 minutes late, no one explained a reason or called me in advance - I just had to wait there. Second is that I was charged 20% more than expected due to 'recent' price adjustment. Again, that was unpleasant surprise as I was not neither informed at a time of booking nor later before my visit.

Rachel from The Building has been cutting my hair for about 12 years now and is always amazing, as is the salon experience overall. Sadly I no longer live in Amsterdam so can't visit her regularly but on a recent visit she was as wonderful as always - especially as unfortunately I was half an hour late for my appointment and arrived stressed and feeling very guilty! She poured me a cold drink and told me to relax, she managed to find a way to fit me in and as always did a wonderful job - and most importantly I left feeling relaxed and happy with a great hair style. I moved to the Netherlands over a year ago and have been searching (and searching!) for someone who really knows how to cut short hair with style and an eye to detail. After many terrible cuts by previous stylists, I finally found her here at The Building!!! Rachel is incredibly skilled, and within 5 minutes of starting to cut my hair, I knew I had finally found a jewel of a stylist. A lovely salon in a beautiful neighborhood, and a top skilled stylist. Finally. Yay!!!
