I decided to cut my long hair. I waited for the appointment for a month. I was welcomed and served first water and later wine which was very nice. I think the place is clean. I explained and showed a hairdresser pictures how I want to get my hair cut. My hair was washed and cut while wet. The hairdresser styled the hair in her own way and I quite liked it on the beginning. However, when I came back home I noticed that while the back of my hair is cut nicely, the hair on the sides of my head was cut too short compering to the back and front. After washing my hair by myself I can say that the haircut I have is very bad and it looks horrible as in the front I have quite short hair, however longer than on the sides and only in the back I have longer hair (about 15 cm difference). This way half of my hair is cut quite short and the other half longer. Now my hair first has to grow back to look acceptable, and I expect I will have to wait about a year for it. I am very unsatisfied with this appointment as on your website you advertise yourself not only as curl specialists, but also as hairdressers who listen to the customer. I do not recommend!

Great first experience! They are extremely on time, the staff is kind and professional and is obviously that they know what they are doing. If you have curly hair of any type, Simcha is for you. My curls are 3c and really fine, which is quite challenging if the professional has no experience. I loved what they did and they understood exactly what I wanted. They got my heart forever with the coffee, cookies and toast! Although they wait list can be quite long, they are doing their best to improve this point. I already have my return appointment. It worth any cent!

Great service! Very experienced hairdressers and she gave me great advice for what suits my style better. The only thing I would suggest is that the girls at the cashier could be a bit more kind...

I live in NYC and have been to many hairdressers. I will only let Simcha do my hair and will fly specially over to Amsterdam to get my hair done. Simcha is the best. Excellent cut, great recommendations for hair coloring. Simply the go-to hairdresser for curly hair!

I have been going to get my hair cut at Simcha & Friends for a few years now. Even if I moved to Paris I still travel back to get my hair cut. The staff is really friendly and the result is always better than what I expected ! I definitely recommend 100%. Thank you Simcha!
