I did a student internship at the office in Amsterdam, where I had a great time. The application procedure was fast and professional. The people in my department were friendly and got me fully involved as part of the team. You learn an incredible amount in just a few weeks, especially through the good guidance and personal feedback. It was also very nice to speak to your fellow interns almost every day during the student coffee. I also found the Friday afternoon drinks and other events very pleasant. I recommend everyone to apply to this office!

As a student I applied at the Amsterdam office. After sending the documents, the procedure went smoothly. The process was challenging and professional. In the following months I also enjoyed working at the office. I fully participated in the team and I met many nice people, from which I also learned a lot. I definitely recommend other students to apply.

This review is not so much about the office itself as it is about the way they treat you as an application student. I myself responded to a vacancy for a working student. I had to wait two months + for an answer and once it was there, I was also told that 'the bar is very high at the office' and that 'based on my CV and transcripts I did not fit the profile' (NB I am a student who has completed her bachelor's with 7.5 and a master's in London with an 8, who already had two major Zuidas offices on the CV and who has never set the bar low for herself). Incidentally, this was not even communicated over the phone, but in a silly e-mail with a few lines. Fortunately, I had already been working for two months at another Zuidas office that wanted me more than happy (coincidentally also the largest office, would be strange if the bar was not so high there). The way in which I have been treated as an applicant is at least unprofessional. In that sense, I would especially advise against applying to this office. But more importantly: do you apply and get a rejection, never be argued that you do not meet some ridiculous standard or are not good enough.

Have worked at the office in Amsterdam in recent months. Fast and fun application procedure, where nothing was wrong with. Meeting friendly and hard-working people. Can anyone recommend to apply at the office if you are interested in the legal profession!
