Recently dealt with Hartmans for a purchase of our apartment. They were fantastic and made the process super easy. Hugo, Esmee and a Emily have been a pleasure, will definitely use them in the future.

Dreadful experience. Terrible communication. Horrible attitude. Overpriced. No explanation. Very rude and aggressive. If you’re an expat don’t use them! Try and find a notary that’s expat friendly. They made the whole experience really awful and stressful. It’s like they were doing it on purpose - it was that bad. My mortgage advisor was great (Exoat Mortgages, David Toonen). These guys were a ness, and really unpleasant to deal with to boot. Thank god I’m nearly done as I never want to have anything to do with them again. Clearly their recent reviews show a serious issue with this organisation.

Perfect & professional and friendly. All our questions were answered in a written form within hours, they present a very responsive service. And to top that off, the friendliness of the staff is mixed with just the right level of professionalism. I would definitely want to work with Hartman again for the next time we buy a house and strongly recommend to everyone considering a notary service.
