January 5 bought a relatively expensive bank from Montél Sliedrecht. A delivery date of 2 June has been agreed. This was not a problem according to the saleswoman. We could even shift the delivery date back or forward if we wanted to. We still had to pay 75 euros extra for the delivery "service". Bringing the sofa home and mounting it was not included in the price as you would normally expect if you spend more than 2500 euros in a store. Now they would say that in a period of 5 months they have enough time to make the bank and reserve the delivery date, but nothing turns out to be less true. I received an email on May 13 that I had to schedule a delivery date myself! And you guessed it ... June 2 was no longer available. The next available date for delivery was only June 9, so I only had to sit on a garden chair for a week. We had clearly indicated in advance in the store that we needed the bank on June 2. Called customer service, who forwarded me to the store. The shop assistant I got on the line showed little understanding. He indicated that it was my own fault and that I was responsible for the delivery of the bank myself. Which I found weird, because I even paid extra for this "service"! I could have read this in the terms of delivery that I had to look elsewhere on their site. I just had to call customer service again… Montél: poor service and not customer friendly
